We are currently recruiting to expand our staff team across all areas of the school and college. We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a 'can do' attitude to join us on a Supply/Casual basis.
Role Details
* Supply/Casual Teaching Assistants have the flexibility to work across both our Special Education School and College sites.
* Flexible working patterns to suit your availability and the school's cover needs.
Responsibilities
Assist teachers and other staff in developing and implementing educational programmes, providing a stable, caring, and supportive environment for pupils. Work with pupils in small groups, getting to know them and supporting their individual needs. The role offers variety, with no two days being the same, and is highly rewarding.
Working Hours
Start at 8:45 am and finish at 3:45 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time, with a half-hour lunch break.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience supporting children and young people with SEND, including those on the autistic spectrum. They should be flexible, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to meet the challenging needs of our pupils.
Additional Information
* Salary is based on Dorset Job Evaluation Grade 4, Spinal Column Points 4 to 5.
