We're looking for a experienced dynamic Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join our highly skilled team at the forefront of the Family Help and Early Support reforms.

As part of Education & Community Health within the Together for Families Directorate, you'll collaborate closely with Specialist CAMHS, voluntary sector partners, and multi-agency teams to deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions that truly change lives.
You will be employed by Cornwall Council on Agenda for Change terms and conditions which will acknowledge your NHS continuous service and allow you to continue an NHS pension. We have close links with Clinical Psychologists in CPFT who support our clinical governance and CPD.
What you'll do
* Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for our Clinical Psychologists who are embedded in various teams across Together for Families. Lead and supervise the Highly Specialist band 8b Clinical Psychologists
* Lead and supervise the Counsellors in the Jigsaw Post Abuse Counselling Service, supporting recovery from child sexual abuse.
* Offer expert consultation, complex formulation, and interventions for vulnerable groups within Social Care.
* Drive service development aligned with the Family Help and Early Support reforms, ensuring psychological thinking shapes policy and practice.
* Champion a culture of reflective practice, resilience, and continuous improvement.
About you
* HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with a postgraduate qualification.
* Skilled in working with children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Deep understanding of attachment theory, complex developmental trauma, and systemic approaches.
* Experienced in consultation, training, and supporting professionals with emotionally challenging work.
* Resilient, reflective, and passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
