About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to support one female adult living with tetraplegia and complex health needs. This is a 2:1 care package, requiring attentive, person-centred support at all times. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone experienced in complex care who is confident working with clinical interventions and providing high-quality daily support within the person's own home. Key Responsibilities Personal Care & Clinical Support: Assisting with dressing and undressing Full personal care support Suprapubic catheter care, including: Connecting/disconnecting night drainage Monitoring for blockages and reporting concerns Supporting with neurogenic bowel management, including: Digital rectal checks Administration of glycerine suppositories Blood pressure monitoring and ability to escalate concerns appropriately Supporting physiotherapy exercises Hoist transfers and safe repositioning Pressure area care and regular skin checks Daily Living Support: Preparing food and drinks Administering medication in line with care plans Providing companionship and emotional support Requirements Previous experience in complex care (essential) In-date DBS certificate Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Confident with clinical tasks and escalation procedures Ability to work effectively as part of a 2:1 care team Compassionate, reliableand professional approach What We Offer Consistent hours (42 per week) - Split throughout the day between 7:00 - 22:30 Ongoing temporary assignment Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someones life
