It’s an extremely exciting time, with the launch of a brand-new Japanese concept in September, and we’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Demi Chef de Partie – Sushi to join our dynamic kitchen brigade!

Are you passionate about Japanese cuisine and skilled in sushi preparation? Do you want to develop your craft in a vibrant, high-energy kitchen at one of London’s most exciting new culinary destinations? If this sounds like you, House of Louie is ready to welcome you!

About Us

House of Louie, part of a world-class hospitality collection including RIKAS, Paris Society, and the Ennismore Group, is a stunning four-storey townhouse in the heart of the West End, offering a diverse range of exceptional dining and nightlife experiences.

This September, we’re launching our contemporary Japanese concept, joining our acclaimed French restaurant and vibrant Alligator Bar, which delights guests with creative cocktails, fusion snacks, live music and DJ sets.

About the Role – you will:

* Assist in the preparation of sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls to the highest standard

* Ensure freshness, consistency, and excellent presentation in every dish

* Maintain exceptional food hygiene and cleanliness at your station

* Support senior chefs in the day-to-day running of the sushi section

* Help ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

* Contribute positively to the kitchen culture with a can-do attitude

* Learn and grow within a team passionate about quality and Japanese cuisine

About You – you will have:

* At least 1 year of experience in sushi preparation or Japanese cuisine

* Confident knife skills and a keen eye for detail and presentation

* A solid understanding of food hygiene and safe fish handling

* The ability to stay calm and dependable under pressure

* A proactive attitude with a passion for high standards and consistency

* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

* A desire to grow your culinary career within a supportive and professional environment
