Position: General Manager
Salary Range: £60,000.00–£100,000.00 per annum
Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead our business and team with dedication and strategic vision. The successful candidate will assume full accountability for all performance metrics, including financial outcomes, health and safety standards, operational excellence, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and control all operational aspects in alignment with the company's strategic growth and profitability objectives.
* Ensure compliance with client, company, and statutory regulations, including health & safety, hygiene, and fire standards.
* Prepare and present financial and operational performance reports as required.
* Lead by example, fostering a culture of respect, discipline, and guidance across departments.
* Promote the health and wellbeing of staff and guests.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and professional appearance.
* Actively manage daily operations and empower teams through hands-on leadership.
Professional Competencies & Qualifications:
* Extensive general management experience, ideally within the hospitality, leisure, or spa sector.
* Minimum of five years' experience as a General Manager.
* Proven ability to motivate departments and drive managers toward excellence.
* Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and KPIs.
* Basic knowledge of HR and employment law.
* Demonstrated intuition, knowledge-sharing, and team development skills.
* Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
* Cultural fit is paramount; the ideal candidate will prioritize team growth and cohesion.
* Background in high-end environments is preferred, though not essential.
