Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, personal, creative and empathetic professional to deliver therapeutic group work, undertake one‑to‑one sessions, community asset building and psycho‑social interventions that support and enable women in the criminal justice system to make positive changes to their lifestyle. The role is part of Women’s Justice Services and works within the Women’s Justice Partnership (BCWA, Changing Lives, Greensquare Accord and ANAWIM).
Responsibilities
* Deliver therapeutic group work and psycho‑social interventions.
* Conduct one‑to‑one support sessions with women in the criminal justice system.
* Collaborate with probation services to enforce support plans.
* Work within a dynamic team and support enforcement of probation services co‑located at the site.
* Travel to partner agencies and other sites across the region as required.
* Maintain an active caseload and keep accurate records using case management systems.
* Build community assets and promote self‑empowerment among clients.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of holding an active caseload.
* Knowledge of case management systems.
* Strong interpersonal skills – dynamic, personal, creative, empathetic.
* Female applicant required.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Enhanced police check (DBS) required.
* Knowledge of Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and enhanced disclosure to Disclosure and Barring Service.
