Responsibilities and Duties
3. Assist with cost planning, estimating, benchmarking and whole-life costing
4. Prepare and analyse tenders, BoQs, schedules of work and procurement reports
5. Support contract administration and post-contract cost control (valuations, variations, final accounts)
6. Maintain risk registers and change control logs; contribute to value engineering
7. Produce clear, client-ready reports and present findings confidently
8. Collaborate with PM/Design/Engineering while working independently when required
Desired Skills and Experience
9. 1–5 years’ QS experience within consultancy or main contracting
10. Sound knowledge of pre- and post-contract processes (NEC/JCT exposure beneficial)
11. Numerate, analytical, and commercially aware with strong Excel skills
12. Proactive self-starter with gumption; comfortable in a smaller team environment
13. Excellent communication; builds rapport with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
14. BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
15. On route to MRICS
