Springbrook Residential Home provides disabled children aged 7 - 17 years with overnight short breaks. You will join a dynamic team of support workers in providing support and encouragement to children whilst they are enjoying a short break, promoting their independence, and supporting their independence during bedtime and morning routines.


Job requirements:



* As a 'Waking Night Support Worker' you must be flexible, motivated, and committed.

* You must have a passion for improving the lives of disabled children and their families.

* You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.

* Additional training is available to ensure we are meeting the needs of all children staying at the home.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
