Year 5 Teacher – Enfield
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to take on a Year 5 class in an ambitious and forward-thinking Enfield primary school.
This is a role for someone who thrives in KS2 and is excited about guiding pupils through the upper years of primary, preparing them for Year 6 and beyond.
What you’ll be doing:
* Teaching a settled Year 5 class with excellent behaviour and high levels of engagement.
* Planning and delivering lessons that challenge pupils while keeping learning enjoyable.
* Supporting subject leadership (optional, with opportunities to take on responsibility if desired).
* Attending weekly year group planning meetings and contributing to whole-school curriculum development.
* Encouraging progress in core subjects, while also supporting creativity in foundation subjects.

* Holds UK QTS with at least 2 years of KS2 teaching experience.
* Has strong subject knowledge and confidence in delivering the Year 5 curriculum.

* Can build strong, trusting relationships with children, staff, and families.
