This role comes with a welcome payment of 5% of the starting salary for the grade as a thank-you for joining our permanent team. This bonus is paid upon successful completion of your probation and is subject to eligibility.
About The Team
As a Chef/Cook, you’ll be the backbone of our culinary operations, whipping up meals and ensuring clients are treated to nutritious delights.
About The Role
Based in Twerton, Bath, you will be delivering a nutritious mid-day meal to the customers living within the extra care service at Avondown House, or to people visiting any of the day services. You will bring your catering knowledge to different community groups. This is a permanent role offering 21 hours per week, working on a two-week fixed rota (including weekends and bank holidays).
We also have a Bank team and welcome successful applicants for permanent positions to be part of this team, providing flexibility to pick up additional hours around personal commitments.
As our services expand, there may be an opportunity in the future to increase contractual hours or expand your role. We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to grow with us—if this describes you, please apply.
