What you’ll do…
* Lead and shape the local brand, marketing and comms strategy – making sure The Hoxton, Edinburgh is always visible, relevant and loved by locals, guests and media.
* Build and deliver a structured calendar of culturally sharp, commercially minded campaigns, partnerships and activations that drive awareness and revenue across rooms, F&B and events.
* Collaborate with our PR Manager to shape and deliver a smart local PR strategy – building strong media and influencer relationships, landing great coverage, and supporting national and global storytelling together.
* Develop and manage local content across social media, newsletters and our website, creating engaging, on-brand messaging with input from our central team.
* Grow and engage our local community of Hox Friends, regulars, influencers and creatives, making them feel part of the family and key to spreading the word.
* Work closely with F&B, sales and revenue teams to shape smart marketing ideas, offers and events that support business goals and guest experience.
* Champion the full guest journey across hotel, restaurant and event spaces – making sure every touchpoint feels intentional, on-brand and memorable.
* Collaborate with our central digital marketing team to ensure local activity supports wider goals – aligning on performance marketing and paid media where relevant.
* Use insight and data to track, report and optimise brand and marketing activity, learning what works and refining your approach accordingly.
* Influence and inspire cross-functional teams – helping them bring the brand to life in everything from event planning to on-the-ground service.
* Manage local marketing and design budgets, planning spend smartly and tracking it with the GM and Head of Marketing.
* Brief and collaborate with our in-house design team on all creative needs – from signage and menus to campaign visuals and event collateral.
* Be the guardian of The Hoxton brand in Edinburgh – ensuring everything we say, show and do reflects our tone, values and identity.

* A strategic thinker with a good grasp of how marketing activity impacts business performance – and how to measure success.
* A natural connector with a strong Edinburgh network – you know the local scene and have the contacts to prove it.
* A multi-channel marketer who’s comfortable working across PR, social, content, events and partnerships – and thrives on variety.
* A brilliant communicator – confident copywriting, strong briefing, clear reporting and great with people.
* Comfortable with marketing tools and platforms – from CMS and CRM to Google Analytics and scheduling tools.
* Someone who gets hospitality – from bar buzz to breakfast bags – and loves creating moments that matter for guests and locals alike.
* A hands-on doer who can work independently but knows how to collaborate and bring people with them.
