About the Role:
* Teach Music to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging and challenging lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners
* Lead or support extracurricular activities such as choir, band, and school performances
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a thriving Creative Arts faculty
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive classroom environment
Ideal Music Teacher:
* A degree in Music or a related subject.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
* Proven experience of teaching music, ideally in a primary or secondary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of music theory, instrumental skills, and various musical genres.
* Ability to inspire students and develop their musical talents.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students as a Music Teacher.
* Experience in organising performances and leading school music events.
* A commitment to fostering an inclusive, creative environment for all students
