Position: Full Time, Field based.

Role Overview:
As the Key Account Manager, you will own and manage key channel partner relationships, engaging across all levels—from lead negotiators to branch staff. Your strategic mindset will help you implement a robust sales strategy while focusing on continuous improvement and delivering against our Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy Implementation: Execute the Wholesale sales strategy through detailed engagement and action plans with designated channel partners, ensuring accountability for achieving sales targets.
* Data Analysis: Analyse sales data to identify gaps and opportunities, utilising insights and business intelligence to recommend actions and close gaps.
* Liaison with Key Influencers: Serve as the main point of contact for all key influencers within prescribed partners, fostering strong relationships.
* Joint Business Planning: Collaborate in executing Joint Business Plans with partners, ensuring alignment and accountability.
* Agility in Response: Demonstrate the ability to adapt swiftly to partner and business needs.
* Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales data for prescribed partners, aiming for +/-5% accuracy.
* Quarterly Call Agendas: Develop and communicate quarterly priorities for team calls to support AOP achievement.
* New Product Launch Plans: Oversee NPD launch plans across partner networks to maximise impact.
* CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate Channel Partner information to support strategic decision-making.
Expectations:
* Develop an in-depth understanding of channel partners and their customers.
* Base decisions on factual data and insights.
* Ask probing questions to define problems and identify effective solutions
* Build and leverage internal and external relationships for optimal results.
* Conduct regular visits to 60-80 branches every six weeks to ensure alignment and engagement.
You will be.
* Self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Experienced in sales, account management or a related field.
* A great communicator. Able to establish and cultivate strong relationships with channel partners and customers.
* Capable of analysing data and information to make informed decisions.
* Proficient in asking penetrating questions to gather valuable insights to uncover opportunities or challenges.
* Adept at leveraging both internal and external relationships for better outcomes.
* Proficient in using CRM systems and other relevant software.
