Senior Support Worker, Supported Living Full Time Position available – 37.5 hours per week. This will include weekend, evening and overnight shifts (Sleep in/ Waking night). Additional hours are also available to cover annual leave, training and sickness as required. ​£13.71 An exciting opportunity to join the DOVE Project’s Supported Living Services. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible individual to lead and support a team of support workers. We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to join our team to support people in a 3 bed shared house in Plymouth. Rockville is a wheelchair accessible building. The people we support will require hoisting and physical support and have complex needs including Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, Autism, ADHD, Neurological Conditions, Acquired Brain Injuries, complex medical needs and challenging behaviours. We are a leading and innovative organisation offering a range of personalised outcome based care and support packages throughout Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall. The Caretech Group is a Sponsored Employer but our sponsorship programme is currently full. You will be required to: Work alone and as part of a team supporting people with their day-to-day living Complete household tasks, meal planning and preparation. Maintain relationships with family and friends Support access to the community. Completing audit and staff supervisions Medication observations to ensure best practice and compliance with organisational policies. Support the day-to-day running of the service Act as a role model for the staff team, provide guidance and mentoring to support workers Contribute and maintain high standards of care, safety, and record keeping. Must Have: A full UK driving license, access to your own vehicle and business insurance in place.
