Overview
Site Quality Director for the UK site (Irvine, North Ayrshire). Lead quality activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and GSK standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of quality excellence. We’re looking for a leader who is passionate about quality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to developing their team.
Responsibilities
* Lead the site’s Quality team, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistent standards across the site.
* Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections, ensuring successful outcomes.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and processes.
* Ensure timely product release decisions based on compliance with quality standards.
* Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
Qualifications/Skills
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
* Strong experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
* Proven leadership experience managing quality teams in a GMP environment.
* Strong knowledge of Quality Systems, Compliance, and Regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree in a related field.
* Experience with laboratory operations and cross-functional business processes.
* Strong people management and leadership skills.
* Knowledge of risk management principles and tools.

This is an on-site role based at our Irvine site.
