Location: Edmonton
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday 0700-17-00 + Alternate Saturdays 0700-1200
Are you a hard working, experienced and dedicated HGV Mechanic looking for the next step in their career ? Our client is a highly successful and well established supplier of sustainable services and they are looking for a HGV Mechanic to join their existing team on a full time permanent basis.
Responsibilities of the HGV Mechanic:
Carry out preventative maintenance inspections to DSVA inspection manual standards
Make sure all relevant documentation is completed
Carry out servicing and repairs on all vehicle and trailer fleet that spans across multiple manufactures and models
repairing daily defects, replacing broken or defective parts
Change wheels if punctured or tyre damaged
Prepare vehicles and trailers for MOT
Attend broken down or accident damaged vehicles
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the above.
What the HGV Mechanic needs:
Competent in using computer based diagnostic equipment
Category C Licence and valid DCPC is preferable
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
