If so, GSL Education are seeking an inspiring SEN Teacher to join schools across Sheffield.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with a range of special educational needs. You will create a supportive and inclusive environment, working closely with support staff and parents to ensure every child receives the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.
Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students’ individual needs.
* Supporting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
* Creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
* Working closely with teaching assistants and other support staff.
* Monitoring progress and adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
SEN Teacher Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching students with SEN needs.
* Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching approaches.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine commitment to supporting students to achieve their potential.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
