Our Manufacturing client based in Sutton In Ashfield is seeking a experienced HSE and Quality individual to join their business on a permanent basis. Hours : The hours are 40 pw Mon to Fri 8am - 4.30pm (30 minute unpaid daily break) Salary: Up to £35k Permanent Mission Statement: To manage the day-to-day Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance. The role will lead continuous improvement initiatives, maintain ISO certifications, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting standardisation across the group. Key Responsibilities: Health & Safety (Primary Focus): Lead and maintain compliance with ISO 45001 standards. Ensure adherence to all relevant Health & Safety regulations. Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions. Promote a proactive safety culture across the site. Deliver H&S training and toolbox talks as required.Quality & Environmental (Secondary Focus): Maintain and improve ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems. Conduct root cause analysis and respond to internal and external Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives across departments. Supervise and support customer and internal audits. Ensure all documentation is maintained and ready for submission to relevant bodies.Complaint Investigation & Resolution: Liaise with the Contracts Team to understand complaint context.
