Ecommerce Manager
This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of Vault City's ecommerce strategy, managing and optimising our Shopify store and Breww stock system while driving D2C growth through performance marketing, audience segmentation, and tailored customer experiences. You'll oversee ecommerce budgets and targets, enhance campaigns with engaging creative (working with our in-house photographer & designer) and deliver paid social support with actionable insights through data tracking and reporting. From Klaviyo flows to testing new Shopify apps and acquisition channels, you'll play a key role in boosting sales, retention, and customer lifetime value.
Essential Responsibilities
* Manage and optimise our Shopify store, Breww stock system including product pages, bundles, guest stock and new launches.
* Own ecommerce budgets and targets; brief designers and amplify social with engagement budgets.
* Track and report on DTC sales, customer data, and trends to drive insights and action.
* Grow sales, retention, and LTV through performance marketing strategies and testing.
* Manage Klaviyo flows (abandoned carts, lapsed customers, post-purchase etc).
* Segment and target audiences (e.g., VIPs, high-potential customers) to build brand loyalty and personal connections to VC brand.
* Collaborate with the warehouse web shop supervisor to create "surprise and delight" moments for customers mentioned in previous point.
* Stay updated with shopify apps and third party integrations to support growth, automation and engagement.
* Support customer acquisition via Meta AdManager, Google Ads (PPC) and ideally supermarket keyword platforms like CitrusAd.
Desirable
* Omni-channel experience, with demonstrable examples scaling a challenger brand over £2m-5m
* Experience with affiliate & partnership growth would be beneficial, so would experience with third party retailers like Amazon
* Bonus points if you've worked with D2C subscription brand and/or have experience with direct European sales growth
What to expect:
You'll work a 4 day week (Monday to Thursday) 8am-5.30pm. Generally we do 3 days in the office and 1 day from home. There are occasionally some travel opportunities for international festivals, which are split among sales and marketing teams to keep things fair.
The role will be based at our new brewery in Midlothian (just outside Edinburgh). We're ideally looking for someone who can drive and has access to a car because public transport is a little sparse at our new neck of the woods. New location can be found here:
Renumeration:
* Salary range - £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
