SEND & SEMH Teaching Assistant – Specialist School
We are seeking a dedicated SEND & SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting pupils aged 7–16 with a wide range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and complex behavioural challenges.
In this role, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support across KS2–KS4.
Help deliver tailored interventions in core subjects and personal development.
Support pupils with behaviour regulation, emotional wellbeing, and communication needs.
Use strategies such as visual aids, sensory tools, and restorative approaches.
What we’re looking for:
School-based experience supporting children with SEND/SEMH.
Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and behaviour management.
Patience, empathy, and resilience.
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
This is a full-time & permanent, term-time role with opportunities for ongoing professional development.
