What Youll Do:
As a Linker, youllbe responsible for joining the components of our garments, such as sleeves to bodies, using specialist linking machinery. Youll work with precision and consistency to ensure every piece meets the high-quality standards our brand is known for. Whether youre working with fine yarns or intricate finishes, your attention to detail makes all the difference.
Your Impact:
Produce beautifully finished garments that uphold the John Smedley standard
Operate linking machinery efficiently and safely
Match colours, threads, and tension with accuracy and care
Maintain consistent quality and output across a variety of garment styles
Support a culture of craftsmanship, pride, and continuous improvement
Who you are:
Youre calm, focused, and take pride in doing things properly
Youve got great hand-eye coordination and love working with your hands
You enjoy detailed, methodical work and care about the final product
Youre reliable, a good team player, and keen to learn or build on your existing skills
Youve ideally worked in garment production, sewing, tailoring, or similar hands-on roles
