Required from September Teaching Assistant – Permanent Position (Full Time or Part Time) Scale 3, Points 5-6 (£23,500-£23,893 FTE, pro rata) Contract: Term Time Only plus 5 PD days Closing date: Friday 13th June 2025 at 9.00am We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2025. This is a permanent post, available either full time or part time, and we welcome applications from candidates with prior experience working in schools. If applying for a part time position, you must state clearly the range of hours per week you would be prepared to work (e.g. 12.5 – 20 hours). The successful candidate may work with an individual child – possibly with additional needs – or provide support to a wider group of children within a class. We’re looking for someone who: Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school setting Demonstrates strong initiative and a solution-focused mindset Communicates effectively with both children and adults Can build supportive relationships that help pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life Is committed to inclusive practice and supporting all learners to thrive Can adapt quickly to changing needs within the school day A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification and/or experience with SEND, early reading or particular year groups is desirable, though not essential.
