GSL Education are seeking a Primary Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Lancing. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with primary teaching experience who wants to create engaging learning experiences and help children develop a lifelong love of learning.
About the Role: As a Primary Teacher, you'll deliver inspiring lessons across the primary curriculum, working with children aged 4-11 to build strong foundations for their educational journey. You'll be part of a supportive team committed to providing excellent education in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing meaningful feedback and next steps
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and the school community
* Contribute to school events, performances, and educational initiatives
Job Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in primary settings (KS1/KS2)
* Strong classroom management and behavior management skills
* Creative approach to lesson planning and curriculum delivery
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
