We are currently recruiting to a Community Consultant Paediatrician position in the Integrated Child Health Service at Gifford House, Thurrock Community Hospital, Long Lane, Grays, RM16 2PX. This is a new, substantive, full-time POST - 10 PAs with 7.5 DCC and 2.5 SPAs. This post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to this post as soon as possible.

* Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children and young people across South West Essex.
* Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
* Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.
* Participate in the local Child Protection rota.
* Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.
* Work alongside 5wte Consultant Paediatricians, 3.8wte Specialist Grade Doctors, and 1wte Specialty Doctor within the service.
* Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.

Qualifications

* Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
* CCT or equivalent.
* Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
