Salary: £130 - £150 per day
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Primary School Teacher to join our team and work in vibrant, supportive schools in Ivybridge. If you’re an early career teacher (ECT), or someone who has a real passion for education this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire children and make a genuine impact on their learning journey. About the role
We work with a wide range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools within Ivybridge, each committed to creating positive learning environments where every child is valued, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
In this role, you will:
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons to pupils in KS1.
Support children at a crucial stage in their educational and personal development.
Plan lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum, focusing on core skills such as phonics, early reading, writing, and maths.
Use a creative and nurturing approach to support every child’s learning journey.
Promote a love of learning through active, hands-on, and child-centred activities.
Monitor pupil progress and provide timely feedback and differentiated support.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues.
Maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment.
This role is ideal for an individual who understands the unique needs and pace of KS1 learners and enjoys seeing the real impact of early education on a child's confidence and curiosity.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Be passionate about delivering a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum
Be flexible, reliable, and committed to making a positive difference
