Supply Secondary School Teacher
Teaching Personnel is currently working with multiple secondary and SEN schools in the Milford Haven & surrounding areas, seeking support from Secondary School Teachers with experience working with KS3-KS5.
What will the role involve?
* Keeping a register of pupils’ attendance, setting assignments and homework, marking pupils' work, recording completion, writing progress reports, and carrying out continuous assessment.
* Willing to teach either specified specialisms or various classes and subjects (General Cover).
* Utilising a variety of teaching methods and curriculum developments to inspire pupils to understand and enjoy their subjects.
* Implementing and delivering a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum, supporting a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
* Overseeing the work of learning support staff and Teaching Assistants (TAs).
* Maintaining order amongst pupils by enforcing rules for good behaviour.
* Following safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
* Providing feedback to relevant external bodies regarding progress, behaviour, and child protection issues if required.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a valid driving licence with access to own vehicle.
* Be a qualified teacher or in the process of gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching secondary education.
* Have an excellent understanding of Science as a National Curriculum subject.
* Experience teaching various core subjects up to GCSE level.
* Be capable of creating and delivering a range of learning experiences suitable for the age group, meeting KS3 and KS4 objectives.
* Work well as part of a team and develop positive relationships with staff.
* Communicate positively with parents, carers, and external agencies where necessary.
* Handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
