Overview
ENERCON is seeking a Contract Manager – After Sales to join our After Sales department. The role can be based in Edinburgh or Huntingdon with hybrid working and travel across the UK. It is a full-time, permanent position.
Your role and responsibilities – Contract Manager, After Sales
* Lead negotiator for new service contracts or adjustments of existing customer contracts, within ENERCON targets and guidelines.
* Define margins for ENERCON on new contracts for existing wind farms; draft contractual documents and monitor the signature process; prepare required documentation.
* Act as the subject matter expert for After Sales teams and the Service Department during the operational period of a wind farm on all O&M contract questions.
* Develop new contract concepts and products in cooperation with customers, Service, Sales and Contract Sales departments.
* Support the Sales department as a specialist on O&M and Service Contract items.
* Participate in tender preparation and negotiations.
Internal consultant
* Provide contractual expertise to the After Sales manager during customer meetings and advise Service Departments on content and interpretation of service contracts.
* Support the Sales Department during tender processes with knowledge on service performance.
* Oversee and monitor the obligations and warranties of service contracts with After Sales specialists.
* Support GSM Contract experts and the legal department on contract negotiations using guidelines and blueprints, adjusted for regional/local requirements.
* Provide up-to-date information about new contracts, conditions and warranties to internal After Sales and Service departments.
Professional Qualifications and Experience
* Educated to degree or diploma level, ideally in business management, contract management or legal.
* Demonstrable experience in a Contract Management role is essential.
* Previous experience as an Account Manager or in a Sales environment.
* Knowledge of contractual, commercial and technical aspects of the energy industry; wind experience is advantageous.
* Excellent stakeholder management; strong communication and contract negotiation skills.
* High level of commercial acumen.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and SAP.
* Full UK Driving License is essential; right to work in the UK.

What we offer
* Salary of £65,000 - £70,000 per annum plus benefits package.
* Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
* Overnight allowance when travel is required.
* 34 days annual leave (25 days plus 9 public holidays).
