An established independent school in Stevenage is seeking a Drama Teacher to join its creative and highly regarded Performing Arts department from January 2026.
Role Overview
This is a full-time role teaching Drama across KS3 to KS5, with opportunities to contribute to a rich programme of productions, performance showcases and enrichment activities. The successful candidate will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons, support student confidence and creativity, and play an active role in the wider cultural life of the school.

The school educates approximately 500 pupils aged 11–18 and is widely recognised for its strong academic outcomes alongside an excellent creative arts provision. Drama is a well-supported subject within the curriculum, benefiting from a purpose-built theatre, rehearsal studios, lighting rigs and technical equipment.

Candidate Profile
* Qualified Drama Teacher with QTS or equivalent
* Experience teaching Drama at GCSE; A-Level experience desirable
* Passion for performance, theatre and creative education
* Confidence leading productions and extracurricular activities
* Legal right to work in the UK
