We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst operating at Senior Associate / Manager level who can be deployed as a lead individual contributor across Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy, and Utilities (M / L / E / U) clients. This role is accountable for owning business analysis outcomes on complex client engagements, leading analysis workstreams, and acting as a trusted client‑facing consultant. The Senior BA is expected to work with minimal supervision, shape delivery approach, and contribute to practice and account growth, while remaining hands‑on Key Responsibilities Client & Engagement Ownership Own end‑to‑end Business Analysis delivery within assigned workstreams or engagements. Act as the primary BA point of contact for client stakeholders. Provide clear recommendations, challenge assumptions, and influence decision‑making. Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and scope within the analysis domain. Analysis Leadership & Governance Define and govern the analysis approach, standards, and artefacts for programmes and initiatives. Lead and coordinate Business Analysts across workstreams where applicable. Ensure consistency, quality, and traceability of requirements across delivery teams. Take accountability for analysis deliverables meeting client and Cognizant quality expectations. Complex Requirements & Process Design Lead complex requirements definition across multi‑system, multi‑vendor environments. Drive current‑state and future‑state process design across: Asset‑intensive operations Supply chain and logistics Manufacturing operations Customer, market, and enterprise platforms Translate ambiguous business problems into structured, actionable solutions. Domain Expertise (M / L / E / U) Apply deep expertise in UK Energy & Utilities, including regulatory obligations, operational models, and market structures. Leverage transferable experience across Manufacturing and Logistics, including: Supply chain, fulfilment, and distribution Inventory, asset, and production operations Field operations and service delivery Advise clients on operational efficiency, digital transformation, regulatory change, and sustainability initiatives. Delivery & Technology Enablement Partner with architects, product owners, engineering, and data teams to shape solutions. Provide input into solution design across ERP, core industry platforms, and data ecosystems. Lead UAT strategy, business readiness, and adoption planning. Support benefits realisation and post‑implementation optimisation. People, Practice & Growth Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level Business Analysts. Support practice initiatives such as capability development, reusable assets, and standards. Contribute to bids, proposals, and client discussions where required. Represent Cognizant professionally with clients, reinforcing consulting‑led delivery. Required Skills & Experience Essential 8 years of Business Analysis experience. Proven experience operating at Senior Associate or Manager level. Strong client‑facing delivery experience in M / L / E / U sectors. Demonstrated ability to lead analysis workstreams independently. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. Strong analytical thinking with a pragmatic, delivery‑focused mindset. Preferred Experience in large‑scale transformation or regulatory change programmes. Exposure to asset‑intensive or supply‑chain‑driven organisations. Familiarity with ERP, asset management, logistics, and data platforms. BA, Agile, Lean, or consulting certifications desirable.
