Day-to-day of the role:
* Motivate and support service users to access the local community and engage in positive activities.
* Commit to assignments to ensure consistent structure and stability for service users.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, offering unconditional and positive regard.
* Act as a role model, demonstrating appropriate pro-social ways of dealing with problems.
* Follow and adapt care plans to reflect the changing needs of young people.
* Meet the physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural, and educational needs of young people.
* Provide emotional support during times of difficulty or stress.
* Be ambitious for young people, helping them achieve their goals and optimise their potential.
