Overview
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will work across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes, delivering personalised care that gives residents a sense of security, dignity and independence. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain high standards of care, and be a positive influence on the team. You will support residents and their families, and work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide essential physical and mental stimulation through activities, while administering medication. You will maintain accurate records of the care you provide and build strong relationships with your team.

Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
* Plan and deliver personalised care that respects residents’ dignity and independence.
* Assist residents with daily activities and support family communications as needed.
* Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide social and recreational activities and to administer medication.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and contribute to care plans.
Qualifications
* Ideally, Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and prepared to work towards Level 3 or equivalent; experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia.
* Strong record-keeping skills and effective time management.
* Positive energy, kindness, and ability to work well with residents and colleagues.
Salary and Location
£13.17 to £13.77 per hour
Locations include Jarrow and Needham Court; other details provided during recruitment.
