Regional Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 - Car or Allowance + benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance across major civil engineering sites. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality management and possess extensive experience in the civil engineering or rail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures across multiple civil engineering sites
* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
* Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner to minimize project delays
* Collaborate with project managers and staff to communicate quality objectives and provide necessary training
* Analyse data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance
* Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into quality processes
What we're looking for:
* A quality management qualification (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, ISO 9001) is required
* Proven experience in quality assurance within the civil engineering or rail industry
* Strong understanding of quality standards and regulations applicable to civil engineering projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities to address quality issues effectively
* Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools for quality management
