We are looking for confident Support Workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You’ll be working 38.5 hours a week, day shift 7.30am – 8pm and night shift 7.30pm – 8am at Cygnet Hospital Derby. Shift patterns are 2 weeks of day shifts and 2 weeks of night shifts (week 1 33 hours, week 2 44 hours).
Cygnet Hospital Derby provides low secure and mental health rehabilitation care based on the Recovery Model. Our integrated care pathway includes Litchurch Ward (low secure), Wyvern Unit (MH rehabilitation), and Alvaston Ward (specialist female personality disorder service).
Responsibilities
* Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
* Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
* Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
* Assist with medical & welfare needs
* Report on medical & welfare needs as required
