JOB DETAILS
The role of account manager is to grow and develop the existing client base around the Midlands region of the UK, so need to be located near our Warrington or Brosm grove offices.
* Deliver on client requirements with strong value propositions.
* Prospect for new business following our business development methodology and using expert questioning techniques to open new opportunities across the solutions portfolio.
* This is an individual contributor role.
For roles with office-based hybrid working: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break. This role also offers flexibility to work from home, typically two days per week for a five-day working week.
* Attend daily meetings with client base, develop new opportunities, source prospective clients and build a long-term sustainable pipeline.
* Participate in a weekly team meeting, regular telephone sessions to our new and prospective client base and undertake regular coaching sessions to maximise potential.
* Complete regular training and development sessions to ensure that you are meeting both customer and company expectations.
The successful candidate will have a strong and coherent plan for finding and winning new business in the marketplace and will be able to demonstrate a track record of doing so.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Ideally you will come from a managed print background, IT or Telecoms and be familiar with contract-based selling.
* You will be highly active in the field, client oriented, an excellent communicator, an experienced negotiator and someone who puts the client first.
* You will be strong on the telephone, have first-class presentation skills, be comfortable with numbers and have experience using a CRM system to report on your sales activity.
* Experience collaborating with colleagues in other departments to ensure unmet client needs are delivered.
* A can-do attitude, willingness to work with peers and ability to work within a team environment are highly desirable.
