As they continue their upward trajectory, we're on the lookout for an enthusiastic part qualified Finance Officer to join their team. Based in their Sheffield headquarters, you'll play a critical role in the company's financial operations and continue your studies under the mentorship of experienced finance professionals.
As a vital member of the finance team, your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing and managing Accounts Payable and Receivables to ensure smooth financial operations
* Supporting monthly and quarterly financial closings, including handling accruals and journals
* Assisting in the preparation of quarterly financial reports to provide valuable insights for partners
* Managing employee expenses and prepayment cards, ensuring accurate and timely processing
* Keeping the ERP system updated with new transactions and ensuring data integrity
* Engaging in a variety of financial tasks to support the department's objectives
In this dynamic role, we're seeking someone who embodies:
* Part qualified status (ACCA or CIMA) with a commitment to completing your studies
* Solid double entry bookkeeping experience and a sound understanding of core accounting principles
* Strong numerical and analytical skills to tackle challenges with precision
* A flair for organisation with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
* A proactive approach and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
