Bridge House School is a specialist provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are seeking a passionate, empathetic, and experienced Family Support Lead to play a pivotal role in strengthening our safeguarding culture, improving attendance, and supporting our pupils and families to thrive. Your Role: As our Family Liaison and Safeguarding Lead, you will: Serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the highest standards of child protection and staff training. Take strategic ownership of attendance and pupil engagement, identifying and tackling barriers to regular school attendance. Lead our family support and early help offer, working closely with families to build trusting relationships and deliver meaningful, wraparound support. Key Responsibilities: Provide practical and emotional support for families Deliver Early Help Assessments and lead TAC meetings Manage safeguarding referrals and attend multi-agency reviews Monitor and analyse attendance data and lead interventions Coordinate reintegration and pastoral support for pupils Collaborate across school and with external agencies to meet pupil needs What We re Looking For: A resilient, trauma-informed professional with experience supporting vulnerable families and children Proven track record in safeguarding, attendance management, and multi-agency working A natural communicator who is calm, empathetic, and solutions-focused Relevant training/experience in SEMH, safeguarding, and family support Why Bridge House?
