Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
1. Pricing analysis – working with a variety of datasets to produce high-quality pricing analyses in support of their partners, helping to improve the quality of their pricing
2. Portfolio monitoring – developing and maintaining their data and portfolio monitoring dashboards which are used & trusted by a variety of stakeholders, and utilising these to forecast & communicate emerging performance and key portfolio trends
3. New deals – working collaboratively with other functions to diligently assess the performance of potential new DA portfolios, and assisting with a robust onboarding process when deals are agreed
4. Process improvement – developing and maintaining systems & processes through innovation, incorporating efficiencies and improvements as standard
Qualifications required:
5. Working towards or recently achieved Actuarial qualifications is preferred
Experience required:
6. Experience in General Insurance Actuarial roles, preferably with exposure to delegated authority business
7. Highly numerate and analytical, with strong technical ability & financial awareness
8. Excellent market, risk and business awareness
9. Skilled at working with a range of tools, such as MS Office, SQL, R, Power BI
