Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment and due to their continued expansion Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position for Fire Extinguisher Engineer.
The Role
* Operate as a field service engineer and you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire areas.
* Testing, inspection, servicing and repair of fire extinguishers in accordance with BS5306.
* Install and commission new extinguishers & compliant signage.
* Replacing fault devices.
* Accurately complete reports and documentation.
* Upselling and cross selling of Fire Safely Ancillary Products.
* Scheduling your own works daily/weekly.
Candidate
* Must have at least three years experience as a Fire Extinguisher engineer.
* BAFE certification is required.
* Must hold a UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points.
* Full training will be provided for fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
* Proven experience in Fire Alarm systems is desirable.
