Infrastructure Engineer
We are looking for an Infrastructure specialist to be responsible for the overall infrastructure design, ensuring that it meets our clients business requirements and their Key Performance Indicators.
The Technical Specialist will need to be Northern Ireland based as there will be a requirement to meet with the client’s infrastructure teams face-to-face on a weekly basis to discuss all aspects of infrastructure design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the client’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of servers, storage, backup solutions and other infrastructure components
Contribute to the development and assurance of design documentation and to the selection of appropriate applications and tools
Assist in incident management, working with technical teams to resolve disruptions quickly and effectively
Attend design and other relevant technical forums and meetings as required
There is also likely to be input required to support third party implementation of a DC temp monitoring solution and deliverables such as Backup Strategies to be produced.
Some of the key skills we are looking for are:
Someone that’s an expert on Large complex IT Systems & Storage, Microsoft Operating Systems, Virtualisation technologies, Disaster recovery and Backup technologies
Experience working with large customers to design hybrid architectures and transformation of large Complex Solutions.
Experience of working for an MSP, with knowledge of onboarding new clients a real advantage
