You will:
As our Senior Modern Workplace Engineer, you’ll be a true player manager, combining hands on engineering with leadership and strategic contribution:‑manager, combining hands‑on engineering with leadership and strategic contribution:
* Lead a team of engineers, including 1:1s, PDRs, performance management and development discussions.
* Allocate work, ensure resource alignment and maintain SLA/KPI compliance.
* Act as a senior engineer and escalation point for technical queries.
* Support End User MIs as a technical specialist.
* Approve high-risk technical changes.‑risk technical change.
* Identify automation opportunities and deploy automation solutions.
* Deliver technical projects and support onboarding of new customers.
* Operate as the technical SME for Microsoft EUC Management.
* Propose incremental improvements and enhance design documentation.
* Act as a key customer contact, providing infrastructure thought leadership.
* Feed into our Intune/EUC Management roadmaps and capability development.
* Work closely with the Head of Modern Workplace, Head of Infrastructure and wider leadership to promote best practice.
Who you are:
You’ll succeed in this role if you bring strong technical capability, leadership confidence and a passion for developing others:
* Experience working in an MSP or enterprise environment.
* Strong Intune and associated product knowledge (Defender, Endpoint Analytics).
* Hands‑on experience with new Microsoft roadmap technologies.
* Windows build and image creation expertise.
* Intune/MDM and AD administration experience.
* PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
* Certified with MD‑102, AZ‑104 and MS‑102.
* Excellent communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
* Strong time management and confidence handling multiple priorities.
* Able to work independently, show initiative and motivate others.
* Diplomatic, collaborative and team minded.‑minded.
