JOB SUMMARY The Events Executive along with the Senior Wedding Coordinator is responsible for the effective handling of all wedding enquires, providing seamless coordination in the planning and execution of Weddings and Special Events. In charge of managing all Special Events bookings (e.g. Christmas) and communicating all relevant information to the Operations Teams. Responsible for pro-actively seeking Wedding Business and maximising the departmental revenue. Essential Functions Maximise Wedding and Special Event revenue to maintain or exceed annual budgets Provide an effective and efficient response to all enquiries and clients and ensure delivery of their requirements thus providing outstanding performance scores Ensure all administration is fully completed to the standards required Ensure that Client retention is maximised and that Dalmahoy retains a professional high profile within the Marketplace for Weddings and Special Events Upsell all Food & Beverage and other Facilities as appropriate to gain maximum sales Maintain excellent communication links with all internal departments to ensure success of Weddings and Special Events Ensure to maintain good working relationships with Suppliers Ensure all meetings are carried out within their time frames Ensure a full handover is carried out with the Operations Departments to ensure a smooth running of the event on the day, allowing you to coordinate To ensure that all Post-Event calls are carried out timely and that the feedback is recorded and followed up Undertake all other reasonable duties within the Business Office as requested by the SEM Competencies Open Communication Dedication Passion for the Hospitality Industry and Weddings in particular Customer Focus Teamwork Planning Continuous Learning Preferred Education and Experience College qualification or equivalent Previous experience within the Hospitality Industry Other Duties This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of the activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.
