Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Finance Analyst to work alongside programme teams and the wider Finance business partnering teams to ensure we are developing and prioritising investments at Heathrow to optimise the capital portfolio. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the long- and short-term capital planning and performance process.
We welcome applications from fully qualified accountants as well as those who are close to completing the qualification or qualified by experience, especially if you have a strong appetite for learning, continuous improvement, and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities:
1. Supporting capital programmes on investment appraisal & financial assurance activities and assisting the wider finance team in tracking and managing project investment appraisal activities.
2. Delivering analytical solutions and Business Intelligence tools such as reports and dashboards on Heathrow's capital performance.
3. Supporting portfolio/programme benefit analysis and reporting.
4. Helping to manage the project pipeline, supporting programmes to identify potential projects and prioritise these against the Heathrow benefits framework.
5. Owning the financial appraisal & assurance models.
6. Supporting internal capital governance.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), finalist or qualified by experience with relevant expertise.
* A genuine passion for finance, process improvement, and making a meaningful impact through your work.
* Experience with Power BI reporting and data visualisation.
* Adept at providing business knowledge, analytical support, and clear presentation of financial and business information to non-finance stakeholders.
* Knowledge and experience of working in a similar role, ideally in complex commercial and regulated environments.

Working Location:
Our hybrid working model allows working from home for an average of two days a week. You need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
