I am working with a national company in Sherburn in Elmet who are looking to hire a Fleet and Compliance Manager, fully office based and salary £45,000. This role is working for a client who are busy 365 days a year with various projects all over the country. Their fleet size varies dependant on time of year and this role requires someone hands on who can work at pace as the fleet is critical to business delivery.
Main Duties:
Manage drivers and ensure vehicles are serviced and roadworthy.
Oversee fitters and daily plant checks.
Set up and manage a vehicle defect reporting system.
Plan maintenance and schedule MOTs.
Monitor outside contractors and check logs (brakes, tyres, etc.).
Keep maintenance records for 15 months.
Help ensure legal compliance for operations.
Track inspections, downloads, and driver data.
Handle driver infringements and issue warnings.
Arrange Driver CPC training.
Support drivers during working hours.
Manage licence applications and insurance claims.
Update spreadsheets and service records.
Organise forklift servicing and vehicle hire/off-hire.Requirements:
Must have at least a National CPC licence (International preferred).
