About the role
As part of the Education Planning and Resources Service, the Education Resources Officer plays a key role in managing high-quality business operations and leading on policy development across the Education Directorate. The postholder will manage strategic planning, financial monitoring, and service transformation activities, ensuring that the Directorate operates efficiently and in alignment with local and national priorities.

You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with experience in business administration, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. You bring strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to improving educational outcomes through effective planning and governance.
What you will do
* Manage business operations across the Education Directorate, ensuring effective financial management, project delivery and policy development.
* Manage budgets, oversee service-level agreements, lead key projects, and support the Directorate in achieving its objectives.
