An established and growing engineering company is currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their team.
The CNC Miller Vacancy:
This permanent position is for a CNC Miller. You will be producing precision components to customer specifications and AS9100 quality standards.
Key responsibilities as a CNC Miller
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC Mills
* Creating, loading, examining, and modifying CNC programmes (Mainly Heidenhain)
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings,
* Using a wide range of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
* Carrying out in-process inspection operations
* Working independently and as part of a team
What we are looking for as a CNC Miller
* Experienced programming using Heidenhain controls ideally
* Aerospace experience advantageous (but not required)
* A positive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
* Organised, punctual, and able to meet deadlines
* Experience setting and operating CNC Mills
As a CNC Miller you will work:
* £20.00 per hour (dependent on ability)
* Overtime available (not guaranteed) at just under time and a third
* 40-hour week (core hours 8.00am – 4.30pm)
* 30 days holiday total
