Overview
VRQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy Teacher. Salon Hijab Academy has been running for almost 10 years, offering short and intense hair and beauty courses to adult learners. We offer NVQ Level 2 and 3 in both hair and beauty. As a VTCT Approved Centre, we are looking for a Level 3 Beauty teacher to join our team as we continue to expand the academy. The role is part-time, Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm during term time.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate a course independently and be responsible for all aspects of the course including theory, practical work, scheme of work, and lesson planning.
* Be familiar with the online platform Google Classroom.
* Deliver VRQ Level 3 Beauty content for a cohort running 20 weeks with a class of 10 learners.
* Ensure current industry knowledge and compliance with VTCT/VRQ requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
* VRQ3 Beauty Certificate.
* Current within the beauty industry.
* An Assessor's Award (desirable).
* Up-to-date DBS.
* 3+ years experience teaching VRQ Level 3 in Beauty (VTCT).
* Computer fluent.
* Experience: 3+ years of teaching experience within the beauty industry.
* Languages: English – Advanced.
