The Role
We’re looking for an experienced electrician and or qualified EV Auditor to carry out technical audits on EV installations, vehicles, and infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical background and hands-on EV knowledge, who’s ready to work across sites, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct on-site audits of EV systems, charging stations, and electrical installations
*
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g. BS 7671, IET Code of Practice, ISO, IATF)
*
Produce detailed reports and identify areas for improvement
*
Advise clients and colleagues on technical and compliance matters
*
Keep up to date with developments in EV technology, safety, and legislation
Required Qualifications & Experience
To be considered, you must have:

✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
*
✅ NVQ Level 3 or SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
*
✅ An EV charging qualification and/or hands-on experience in EV systems
*
✅ Inspection & Testing Qualification – 2391 or equivalent (e.g., 2394/2395)
*
✅ Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
*
Experience working with EV infrastructure, OEMs, or charging providers
*
Auditing qualifications or experience (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, etc.)
*
Excellent report writing and communication skills
