Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant (Temporary with Potential to Go Permanent)
We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of moving into a full-time role. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and eager to contribute to smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing a high volume of sales invoices with accuracy and timeliness
* Updating and maintaining financial records and databases
* Handling internal and external queries related to accounts
* Managing general administrative duties such as filing and documentation
* Ensuring compliance with internal financial policies
What We’re Looking For
* A relevant finance certification (e.g., AAT) or equivalent experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Experience using Sage (required); familiarity with Uptick is an advantage
* Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
