We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic individual to lead the successful delivery of football transactions across our Group, overseeing the end-to-end transaction operations for our Americas portfolio of clubs.

As a key business partner, you will work closely with senior club stakeholders to provide expert advice, governance policies, and negotiation strategies. In this role, you will advise CFG Sporting Directors and various business functions, influence negotiation strategies with clubs, players, and agents, and lead multi-disciplinary efforts to develop tailored transaction strategies for specific market territories. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive insights and strategic recommendations to the CFG Leadership Team on player trading matters.

Your Impact

1. Manage and deliver the football transaction process liaising with key senior stakeholders at relevant CFG clubs
2. Embed and implement CFG Player Trading principles across relevant CFG clubs, ensuring consistent and transparent practice, aligned to global and regional regulatory guidelines, throughout the end-to-end transaction process.
3. Provide strategic business partnering and advice to relevant CFG club Sporting Directors and CEOs for all player trading activity.
4. Build and maintain strong external relationships with agencies and clubs globally, applying expert judgement to pro-actively identify player trading, pathway, value creation and opportunities.
5. Inform key stakeholders of emerging business practice and processes to ensure relevant CFG club football operations departments remain innovative and evolve with industry trends
6. Create, develop and manage the execution of organisational and commercial strategies to manage and deliver football transactions across the Group more efficiently
7. Contribute to the planning, delivery & management of Group Football transactions forums, meetings & reviews

What we are looking for

Essential

* Experienced professional in either the sporting, management consulting, football operations, or strategic commercial background.
* Degree in a business-related field, formal qualification in business, finance, and/or legal.
* High level experience engaging and negotiating with C-level executives.
* Knowledge and experience in sales planning, business modelling, football negotiations, contract structuring, and financial budgeting.
* High level presentation experience with internal and external clients.
* Robust experience in Microsoft Office, particularly in excel and power-point.
* Proactive, B&D / commercial drive.
* Strategic, analytical mindset

Desirable

* Multilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French).
* Advanced knowledge of the football transaction landscape, previous experience working with clubs, agencies, players worldwide.
* Strong use of initiative and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Proven ability to address and resolve conflict effectively and efficiently
