Senior Management Accountant - Gross Margin
Leeds (Thorpe Park) / Hybrid - typically 3 days per week in office
OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a proficient and commercially aware Senior Management Accountant to provide financial support, insight and to contribute towards the efficient running of our Gross Margin finance team. You will be working in a fast-paced, ambitious team with a real focus on continuous improvement. The role will work closely with our business partners in the Sales team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do (RESPONSIBILITIES)
1. Complete month end close for EU Gross Margin – including all accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
2. Reporting and insightful commentary on variance analysis
3. Monthly and quarterly calculation of our Retailer deductions
4. Build relationships with our Sales teams to improve quality and accuracy of financial reporting.
5. Work closely with our FP&A and CP&A finance teams to support with forecasting and commercial decisions.
KEY PROJECTS
6. Development of BI reporting tools to create reporting efficiencies

7. Highly numerate with strong analytical ability
8. Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
9. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with both financial and non-financial management
10. Methodical and diligent with a willingness to work toward and manage tight deadlines.
11. Have a can-do attitude and work well within a team
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
12. Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting required
13. CIMA or ACCA Qualified/Part-Qualified
